Feist Vocational Counseling and Placement, LLC was established in 2012 by Kimberly (Feist) Nonn, MS. Kimberly is a Master’s level graduate from the University of Wisconsin‑Madison: Rehabilitation and Special Education Department. Kimberly is an experience vocational counselor who provides career exploration, job preparation and placement services. She prides herself on providing evidence based and person centered services.

Over the last four years, Kimberly has developed a competent team of Vocational Counselors, Job Developers, Transition Specialists, Benefit Specialists, and Job Coaches. With this dynamic team, Feist VCP is able to provide collaborative services including: career counseling and exploration, job placement, benefits counseling and planning, transition services for high school students, employment preparation for individuals seeking competitive wage earning, onsite job coaching and skills to pay the bills.

Most recently, Feist VCP has provided services to WI‑PROMISE families. Services include career exploration and employment opportunities to youth and their families through job shadows, informational interviews, arranging work experiences/internships, job coaching to learn employability skills, and also permanent job placement. She also serves as a member of the RCE Advisory Board.

Kimberly credits achieving vocational success with her clients to having a strength-based perspective, can-do attitude, and strong connection to Madison employers. Being a business owner herself, she thinks equally about meeting the employer’s employment and staffing needs, as well as her client’s.
