Job Title: Job Coach
Hours: Part Time: 10 (minimum) to 30 (maximum); Nights and Weekends Preferred
Pay Range: $18+ per hour
What you’ll do as a Job Coach:
Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding job with the ability to choose your schedule? Feist Vocational Counseling and Placement, a leading employment organization in Dane County, is seeking a Vocational Coach to join its dynamic team of coaches! We offer customized schedules, great team support and most of all the ability to truly LOVE your job!
A Vocational coach provides specialized on-site training to employees with disabilities to help maintain their current job, work with a comprehensive team to coordinate team meetings and submit progress reviews.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assessing and assisting a person with a disability to understand all aspects of the Position: from “how to clock in and out”, workplace norms, introductions to co-workers/managers/supervisor, and job duties
- Providing one-on-one training on a job site
- Help identify accommodation’s the employee may need, including adaptive and assistive technology devices
- Responsible for facilitating client/employee confidence in performing the job independently
- Provide support in completing tasks, including modeling appropriate behaviors as needed
- Coordinate team meetings with treatment team, IRIS Providers, parents and other community partners
- Complete monthly reports including newly identified barriers, new skills learned, and natural support developed at workplace
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to evaluate and problem-solve disability and job-related concerns.
- Sensitivity to the needs of underserved adults with multiple barriers to employment
- Ability to deal with challenging behavior while teaching job tasks, and communicate any support needed
- Valid Driver’s License, Insurance, and reliable transportation. (Vehicle required)
- Successful completion of a standard background check, including review of any criminal record and complying with the State of Wisconsin DVR Criminal background check policy
- Completed State of WI-Work Force Development Modules and Ethics Training. (provided)
- Part time: 10–25 Hours per week (Times of availability will be provided by you to provide the perfect schedule to fit your needs)
Full-time position available at 32+ Hours per week with a competitive benefits package
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours a day
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 20lbs
- Clear communication, including both verbal and written communication

Feist Vocational Counseling and Placement, a leading employment organization in Dane County, is seeking a Supported Homecare professional to join its dynamic team of support for individuals with disabilities!
A Supported home care professional will provide specialized emotional, physical, and behavioral support for adults with disabilities in their home. We are looking for reliable, caring, attentive staff to support and engage with our amazing clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a comprehensive team to assist in daily living needs, coordinate team meetings, submit progress reviews and assist clients in engaging in social activities.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assessing and assisting a person with a disability in daily living skills in their home and community
- Identifying accommodations the employee may need, including adaptive and assistive technology devices
- Following individual’s care plan and documenting behaviors
- Assisting in individual living skills including cooking, cleaning, and household organization
- Assisting with engaging in social activities that will be hosted by Feist VCP
- Providing a variety of activities at home and in the community to keep the individual engaged and active
- Light housekeeping
- Maintain monthly calendar
- Coordinate team meetings with treatment teams, IRIS Providers, parents, and other community partners
Required Qualifications:
