Looking for a stepping stone post-high school? Turning Point could be the next step for you! We are a program for individuals with disabilities that incorporates technology, group training and community job exploration. Our goal is to increase the employment outcomes and independent living skills for people with disabilities transitioning to adult life. This program runs 9-months and emphasized half the day, paired with work experiences in the community.

Program Focus

Turning Point follows a 9-month learning program that is designed to educate and transition our students from high school to adult living. These lessons focus on skill based learning that is individualized to the class. The program will focus on independent living and community building. Skills learned in the classroom will be directly transferred to employment and gained independence. Below are the lessons that will be featured in 9 months of Turning Point. To empower and support persons with disabilities to achieve their highest potential by providing comprehensive services and community engagement so they may live more independently.

Turning Point curriculum- listing work, finances, transportation, relationships, multicultural, solutions, safety, health, nutrition, identity, etiquette, community, transition, independence.
