Job Title: Job Developer
Hours: Part Time: 32-40 hours
Pay Range: $19+ per hour
What you’ll do as a Job Developer:
A Job Developer is a person, who works with clients through the intake and placement process. You will assist clients in finding and maintaining jobs. Job developers will offer trainings and build interview skills. As a job developer, you will establish connections in the community and create employment opportunities for your clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assessing and assisting a person with a disability. Understanding all aspects of the position: from “how to clock in and out”, workplace norms, introductions to co-workers/managers/supervisor and job duties.
- Providing one-on-one training on a job site.
- Help identify accommodations the employee may need, including adaptive and assistive technology.
- Responsible for facilitating client/employee confidence in performing the job independently.
- Establish contacts with employers to create internship and employment opportunities for clients.
- Coordinate team meetings with treatment team, IRIS Providers, parents and other community partners.
- Complete monthly reports including newly identified barriers, new skills learned and natural supports developed at work place.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in social service or related field required (i.e. counseling, rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, special education, sociology, human services, etc)
- Strong passion and understanding for working with individuals with a wide range of disabilities including severe mental illness, physical disabilities, TBI & Autism Spectrum Disorder (preferred, not required)
- Compassionate approach, reliable attitude and responsible in nature.
- Ability to model professional workplace expectations and demonstrate strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and self-direct, multi-task and problem solve independently
- Commitment to high professional ethical standards and to promoting a diverse workplace
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver’s License, insurance and reliable vehicle
- Pass background check required by the State of Wisconsin: DVR

Job Coach: Vacancy
Job Title: Job Coach
Hours: Part Time: 10 (minimum) to 30 (maximum); Nights and Weekends Preferred
Pay Range: $18+ per hour
What you’ll do as a Job Coach:
A Job Coach works with individuals with disabilities at their employment setting to develop work skills in order to train and retain their jobs. A job coach discovers client’s strengths and weaknesses and assists in determining what works best for them in pursuing their vocational goals. Effective communication partnered with critical thinking and problem solving are necessary skills for this position.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Communicating with on-site employers and supervisors.
- Assessing and advocating for clients’ needs and necessary supports.
- Identifying barriers and working towards independence on the job.
- Crafting detailed casenotes and reporting on client shifts, in a timely manner.
- Driving oneself to and from client worksites.
- Identifying the need for job aides and implementing these at the worksite
- Understanding all aspects of the position: from “how to clock in and out”, workplace norms, introductions to co-workers/managers/supervisor and job duties.
