- Who is eligible for Feist Day Program?
- 18 years old and up
- Individuals who have graduated from high school
- Documented disability from a medical professional
- Ability and desire to participate and learn in a small-group setting
- Ability and desire to appropriately participate in the community
- No recent history (within the past 12 months) of severe aggression toward self, others or property, including self-injurious behaviors
- Able to take care of self-care needs
- What is the process for enrollment?
- Step 1: Submit interest form
- Step 2: Meet with Day Program advisors to discuss individual goals & schedule visit
- Step 3: Complete comprehensive application & submit $250 application fee
- **Program runs June to May with a running enrollment
- What does a typical day look like at Feist Day Program?
- Intentional learning/functional independent living skill development via powerpoints, discussions, worksheets, reflection, guest speakers, etc.
- Intentional learning/functional skill development via community outings and experiences
- Community experiences that maximize on opportunities for social engagement in order to develop and meet the need for independence and autonomy
- Opportunities to empower and support persons with disabilities, such as fitness, art etc.
- What are important dates to note?
- Feist Day Program includes breaks for 4th of July, Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years, Spring Break
- Upon interest in the Feist Day Program, specific dates will be provided
- What are my funding options?
- Feist Day Program accepts IRIS funding or private pay
